I am pretty sure sites like PrChecker are experiencing some serious traffic these past few days, considering that a PageRank update might in fact be on it’s way.
UPDATE: I can confirm the update is in progress. [February, 6, 2012]
The last PageRank update back in 2011 happened on November, 8 – which does kinda suggest that 3 months have passed and it is going to happen. Now, when I say 3 months I mean that has been sort of a pattern for the past few years, however:
- PageRank updated on November 08 2011
- PageRank updated on August 05 2011
- PageRank updated on July 18 2011
- PageRank updated on June 27 2011
- PageRank updated on January 20 2011
As you can see this shows that saying 3months is not really that accurate as some PageRank updates have happened as soon as 3weeks since the last one.
The “expected” times for PageRank updates in 2012 is:
- 30 Jan, 2012 – 2 Feb, 2012
- 30 Jun – 2 July, 2012
- 30 Sep – 2 Oct, 2012
- 31 Dec – 3 Jan 2013
Nothing is confirmed so don’t take my word for it, but definitely keep an eye out, get those backlinks and posts going before you have to wait another “few” months.
Hopefully it will be soon. I remember during the Panda update we went for months and months without an update.
I think another update just happened last week. I just don’t know the exact day.

Page Rank hasn’t updated last week….We expecting in this week and will update at any moment from now…

Nothing as far as I know – the best bet would be early next week. But then again, might not happen at all. It’s all speculation from here on, unfortunately.
weird, the PR of one of my blogs just dropped to 2 despite not expecting update so far.

One of my sites got upgraded to PR1 from PR0 but the other’s rank hasn’t changed, its definitely happening though!
Yes, I am waiting for five website updates, two of them have gone up and two have not moved from 0 so i think the updates are happening as we speak
